8th Annual New Zealand Shar-E-Fest: September 28th – 29th, 2015
Venue: Waikato Institute of Technology, Hamilton
Concept:Shar-E-Fest is designed to encourage and develop an ongoing community of practice where those engaged in e-activities – e.g. delivering e-learning events, developing online learning resources and services, providing access to digital materials, creating virtual spaces and innovative student learning environments, and improving the digital literacy of participants – can share their innovations and experiences.
Theme for 2015:
E-Learning in practice: What digital technologies work for student learning and achievement and how do you know?
Costs: Registration for Shar-E-Fest will open in August 2015 and the registration fee has been set at $195 + GST. This includes attendance at all sessions and refreshment breaks on both days.
Programme: The programme has been designed around keynote presentations, hands-on workshops/tutorials of 100 minutes (a flexible computer facility with 30 computers is available), thirty interactive sessions (demonstrations, round-tables, case studies and brief presentations) of 30 minutes and spaces for posters.
